5 Online Dating Sites: A Numbers Game

I spent time searching for 5 online dating sites and top 10 dating sites. Some names I ran across for singles dating sites (in random order) are: perfect match, yahoo personals, lavalife, msn personals, chemistry, singlesnet, okcupid, plenty of fish, american singles, eharmony, match, encounters, chemistry, and great expectations.

I am fascinated by the diversity that online dating sites offer these days. Even today's cell phones are joining the game, with dating iphone apps.

One thing I discovered was the existence of the 'online dating sites niche'. There seems to be a site suitable for everyone these days.

There is an online dating site for you to join that is focused (culturally, religiously, racially, alternative lifestyle, etc.) and you'll have good luck there. There are dating sites that focus on one's specific 'must-have' criteria (for example, single parent, Jewish, divorced, Asian, professional, etc.). There truly is a site for everyone.

Knowing this, I recommend you join a couple of dating sites. Put the numbers in your favor and diversify your memberships.

Join the site that is specific to your needs and also join one of the larger, popular sites because of their large database. Large online dating sites put the numbers in your favor. While a 'niche' dating site makes sure that you have a good chance of meeting someone with a must-have interest of yours...if you do this right and the combination of the two or three dating services will cover your bases and have you dating a terrific person inside of six months, if you're diligent about it.

And you will never feel that you "settled".
